Fortunately Ponta Mamoli is a very low-risk malaria area, but you can never be too safe, so make use of the anti-mosquito spray in each room. Consult with your pharmacist before leaving home if you are wanting to take preventative measures.

Supplies

Bring what you can from home. There is a massive Boxer and Spar in Manguzi if you need to grab stuff before you hit the border. You can also buy basics in Malongane, such as potatoes, onions, garlic, lemons, local bread, in fact basically whatever you might get in one of our Spaza shops. You can also buy beer, wine and spirits here too.

There are a number of restaurants in the area and they all offer similar fare.
